About Us
BreathABLE Diving is dedicated to assisting individuals with a disability to lead richer and fuller lives through active participation in recreational or professional diving. |

|
|
Our mission is simple; to train people with disabilities how to Scuba Dive
and to improve their confidence and independence under the water. We
believe in the wonderful affect water has on a person, and value the
lifelong memory the diving experience becomes. |
Linda Bishop
LINDA has been a water baby as long as she can remember. Born and raised in
Salmo, BC, the "hub" of the Kootenays, where she spent 10 years as a
lifeguard and swimming instructor, she then moved on to graduate with a
Physical Education degree from the University of Alberta, concentrating in
Adapted Physical Activity. Whilst in Edmonton, she worked for the
Paralympic Sports Association, as well as the world-renowned Camp Health,
Hope and Happiness.
When she became a Scuba Instructor in 2004, she was able to combine her two
loves; being in the water, and her passion for working with people and
helping others. After working as a scuba instructor for Canada Dive
College, Suncoast Diving and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, the opportunity
arose to start her own business and BreathABLE Diving was born. |
